Good morning Bayview Glen P.S.! At Bayview Glen, you matter and you belong!
Today is Monday, April 6, 2020.
Welcome back to school! We miss seeing your faces in the school building and we hope to see everyone back soon! Still, we are very excited to begin this new way of learning together. This week, you will be starting learning online. We know this is going to take some getting used to for both you and your teachers, but we expect everyone to put forth their best effort and we will all work hard together to ensure we continue to learn and grow.
Today we are celebrating no birthdays at Bayview Glen P.S. Today’s quote of the day is: “I can’t change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.” --Jimmy Dean
Let’s adjust our sails to reach out destination, Bayview Glen P.S.!
That’s all for today! We’re signing off wishing everybody a Memorable Monday.
It's been some time since we connected. I hope all of you are keeping safe and healthy. So instead of arriving at school, books in hand--you will be using your device (laptop, tablet) to connect with the blog and google classroom.
William, Noah, Chris, Michael, and Kian--you will be using Google classroom/docs. It is a great platform to get your work done and to communicate with me. You can also ask questions and I can respond to you in real-time. You will also submit your work to me online like you usually do. Just to make it clear--All assignments will be posted in Google Classroom. You will do your classwork on Google Docs and share it with me like we've been doing for months.
Joanna, Viraj, Artin, and Sophia you will be using the blog for your daily work. I will link videos and worksheets. Once you complete your work, ask your parents to email me the worksheets (take a photo of it and will access it and give you feedback using your email address. Okay, everyone reach out to me if you need help. By the way, I miss you all.
My email is: jonathan.singh@yrdsb.ca
