Today is Tuesday, April 7, 2020.
We hope your first day of online learning went great. We know this is different from the school you’re used to –and we hope to get back to that regular schooling soon—but your teachers are still here for you, so let’s work hard to be successful!
Today we are celebrating a birthday at Bayview Glen P.S. Happy Birthday to … Griffin in Ms. Ejchental’s class! When we are back in school, Griffin, you can all come down to the office for your birthday surprise!
And what’s that, Leo?! You have a Royal Roar for us? Excellent!
Staying at home means everybody has had to take on more responsibility. Owen in Ms. Hanks’ class wanted to make things easier for his family, so he took the initiative to ask his parents for help learning to prepare different food items. He practiced cooking with his mom for a few days … and he now prepares breakfast in the morning on his own, while both parents are busy working from home. Great job, Owen. (And remember, students, if you want to learn to cook, you’ll need your parents help and permission!)
Today’s quote of the day is: “Keep your face always toward the sunshine - and shadows will fall behind you.” --Walt Whitman
Let’s stay positive and keep our faces toward the sunshine, Bayview Glen P.S.!
That’s all for today. We’re signing off wishing everybody a Teachable Tuesday!
