Goals: think about comprehension strategies like connecting, predicting, inferring and summarizing as you listen to books being read to you. Make sure you view the video a few times to get a good understanding
Big Idea is the theme: Theme is an underlying message or the big idea of a story. This message could tell more about human nature or life in general. Many stories have more than one theme. Some themes can be, good vs evil, mannerism, compassion, empathy, loyalty, family and so forth.
Read for 20 minutes
